Age
Requirement
Kindergarten:
Children who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2008 shall be
eligible for admission to kindergarten
First
Grade:

Children who will be 6 years old on or before September 1, 2008 and who have
been enrolled in a public school
shall be eligible
for admission to first grade.
·
Students who have completed kindergarten in a private school AND who are 6
years old on or before September 1,
2007 shall be eligible for admission to first grade. A letter from the
private school stating satisfactory completion of
kindergarten must be presented at time of registration.
